2026 Group Classes & Events

If you are eager to learn more after reviewing the classes below such as how to reserve your dog’s spot, receive our group pop-up class guide, or ask any questions - Please fill out the contact form below. Group classes fill up quickly so we highly recommend making a deposit in advance to secure your spot.

Please note: Classes with one session require full payment at the time of booking to hold your slot for class, but for classes with multiple sessions a 50% deposit is required when booking to hold your slot for class! 

For dogs with reactivity or aggression a group class setting would not be suitable and would require a behavioral evaluation.

Real-World Skills: Beyond The Home
Group Class

Class Dates: Monday, July 13th & July 20th at 6:00 pm

Location: Mason Park (On Crosby Street) - Pittsfield, ME 04967

This 2-session outdoor group class (with each session lasting one hour) is designed for individuals who want to continue building off of their basic skills in a new distracting environment, moving beyond the home to build focus and reliability. We will practice strengthening these basic skills to ensure your dog responds reliably to commands enabling them to thrive in real-world situations such as walks, park visits, and interactions with others. You will receive a step-by-step packet to continue practicing at home and ensuring ongoing progress!

Cost: $130 per dog in total

Outdoor Agility Day!

Pop-Up Date: Saturday, July 18th from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm

Location: 103 Oak St Oakland ME 04963

This 30-minute private outdoor agility day is perfect for dogs of all experience levels! This engaging session provides mental and physical stimulation for your dog improving focus, confidence, and bonding with you. During the appointment you will have one-on-one time with our professional trainers, guiding you and your dog through our outdoor agility course with different levels. Suitable for one or multiple dogs in your household - it's ideal for dog's needing excercise, mental challenge, and fun. Please Note: Upon booking we will provide available time slots to choose from!

Cost: $40 per dog in total

FALL: Real-World Skills Basic/Intermediate Group Class

Class Dates: Thursday, September 10th, 17th, 24th, & October 1st
at 5:30 pm

Location: Behind the Tapley Building - 41 Heath St Oakland ME 04963

This 4-session outdoor group class is for owners wanting to take basic skills into the real world. We will work in a distracting environment to build focus and reliability beyond the home. Each 1-hour class session will strengthen Basic/Intermediate obedience skills so dog's can respond reliably around other dogs, people, and new environments. Some of the skills covered will be leash manners, focusing techniques, confidence building with agility equipment, rapid recall, and more! You will additionally receive a step-by-step packet to continue practicing at home.

School Registration Fee (Paid upon registering): $10

Payment To Instructor (Due at the first class): $160 per dog in total

OPEN spots are available to join!

-PLEASE NOTE: This class is a partnership with the RSU 18 Adult Education school system, so registration is a little different for this class. To register and hold your dog's spot you will need to email Joyce at janderson@rsu18.org to pay the $10 fee - they do accept card payments. Then the first night of class, $160 will be due directly to us here at Maximillion Dog Training in cash or check only. Thank you!
